'Art is an effort to create, beside the real world, a more humane world.'
PRAYAS is the Annual cultural-cum-charity festival of Literacy Mission. It provides a platform for the children to come forward and showcase their talents by performing various arts like Dance, Drama, Music, etc; and in turn enhance their confidence. In this fest, the students of NIT Hamirpur perform as one with those of Literacy Mission. Over the years this function has generated lot of interest among the students and faculty of NIT Hamirpur.
PRAYAS is not only a cultural event, but also an oppurtunity for us to express gratitude to all our sponsors, who so generously help us in this noble endeavor.
Last year we celebrated PRAYAS, to commemorate 15 successful years of contribution to make the society a better place with the theme 'ज्ञानं परमं बलम'.
