About the Conference

ChEmference is a well-acclaimed, conference in the field of Chemical Engineering and allied fields in India. It came into existence at IIT Kanpur in 2008, the very first edition. Starting from the year 2008, the event has been successfully organized by reputed institutes namely, IIT Kanpur (2008 and 2010), IIT Madras (2009), IISc Bangalore (2011), IIT Bombay and ICT Mumbai jointly (2012), IIT Bombay (2018), IIT Hyderabad (2015 & 2020), IIT Gandhinagar (2016), and BITS Pilani, Goa Campus (2023). The 11th edition of ‘ChEmference’ will be hosted by National Institute of Technology Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, India. This is the first time this conference will be hosted by any NIT. The theme of this edition is ‘Sustainable Processes for Cleaner and Greener Tomorrow’. The objective of the conference is to provide a platform for researchers, experts, and professionals to gather and discuss sustainable processes for a cleaner and greener future. It will showcase and promote innovative technologies, tools, and methodologies that can be applied for sustainable chemical processes in various industries, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration across chemical engineering, physics, chemistry, and allied environmental sectors. Apart from eminent national experts and participants, this edition aims to include eminent speakers from internationally reputed institutes/organizations and international participants to showcase their research. This will also provide an ideal opportunity for industry representatives to identify their interests in a particular domain resulting in collaborations and recruitment possibilities of some of the best talents around the country.
