Texas Instruments Innovation Challenge

It is organized by Texas Instruments India every year for engineering students. This is a very good competition for DIY enthusiast and a very good opportunity to learn electronics hands-on. You have to work in teams (2-5 members). If your proposal is accepted you can order ICs /EVMs upto $200 from Texas Instruments besides the free samples that get from (http://www.ti.com) . The Freescale Cup

The Freescale Cup is a global competition where student teams build, program, and race a model car around a track for speed. The fastest car to complete the track without derailing, wins. Cadence design Contest

Hardware Hackathon

Intel IoT Roadshow

It is a Two day hardware hackathon organized by Intel in various cities across the world. In India, It is organised in Bangalore and Pune. The Bangalore Roadshow for 2015 is over, while for Pune, it will be held on 1-2 August. For more information, check the official website: IoT.
